We have been dedicated to beekeeping for over 40 years, and a new generation is now continuing this tradition– modern, close to nature and firmly rooted in the Ötzal valley.

What began decades ago with the first beehives is now being continued with fresh enthusiasm. Marcel has over 40 years of beekeeping experience, and his son Benni is now contributing to that experience with fresh energy. Together with the whole family, we ensure that every jar of honey reflects the diversity of the Ötztal valley.

The name “Schwarm24” stands for our history. In 2024, we brought in our first harvest under the new name. “Schwarm” symbolises the young generation that swarms out of the old colony and dares to try something new – just as we as a family are carrying beekeeping into the future.

Migrating with bees

Our colonies migrate throughout the entire valley, from spring in Sautens to the alpine roses in Gurgl. This means our bees are always close to the flowers. This ensures healthy colonies, which gives our honey its distinctive taste. Each location has its own character – and that is what makes our products so special.
